Size: 5 cups, each segment is about right for I child. 

Cake easily expandable by cooking several batches of the segment parts of the tin, and so a couple of different flavours (or gluten free) segments of cake can be used to appeal to all tastes/requirements.

This cake is great for very small children and is also very effective when used as a jelly mold for kids who aren’t that into cake.  Use colourful icings and edible glitter or sparkles which are available from Cake Tin Hire, or poker-dot segments with lollies to decorate.  How about serving up some chocolate leaves for this hungry caterpillar to nibble on.
